I have been blogging on various sites for about two years, developing a small following I suppose. During the past election, Huffington Post thought some of my stuff was good enough to include in its publication and I should have a couple of articles in the latest issue of New Visions Magazine out of New York.
I am a writer. I write about life, about people, about whatever is on my mind. I have a new collection of poetry that a small publisher in Maine thought enough of to publish and put on Amazon. for anyone interested, it's called Ramblings Through the Attic of Thought. For some reason the poetry really resonates with the men who have read it. Check it out when you have a minute. I like to write non-fiction, fiction, and screenplays. I also write children's illustrated books -- mostly because my seven year old niece gives me great subject matter and we collaborate on the books I write. In fact one of her paintings is in my first book, I Like Brown which is illustrated by fine artist Charlotte Riley-Webb.
I am a big advocate of the arts and in 2009 will likely be speaking out on the need to reincorporate the arts back into public school curriculum. I also write about various other topics including the news and welcome your comments whether you agree or not. My main blog gives you some idea of how I think, so take a read if you'd like. Until next time...
